When is Regeneration?
Sunday Youth Group: 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the High School room for students in grades 9-12.
What is Regeneration?
High school is a time of transition from adolescence to college and adulthood. We believe this is a crucial period for each student’s faith as they begin to understand and apply God’s grace in their lives.
Each generation of disciples is as important as the next. It is imperative that we continue to raise up new generations of disciples so we continue to carry out our mission.
Our mission is to form relationships with other people, teach them the gospel of Jesus Christ, and live out our faith in Jesus.
Our ministry seeks to display the acceptance and love of Jesus, equip students with knowledge of God’s word, and respond to God’s word and love by reflecting both toward the world in our lives.
Why Regeneration?
Our theme comes from Titus 3:5: “He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit.”

At the beginning of each year our middle school and high school students take a weekend at Camp Allendale to worship, learn, play games, and enjoy being a community of believers. The purpose of Winter Retreat is to refocus on God’s mission and rest in his presence away from the noise of the world. This year’s theme is “Never the Same” We will discuss how the Gospel transforms us and we will never be the same after encountering the risen Christ.

We have a long-standing tradition at Center Grove Church where each summer the youth spend a Friday night locked in the church together. Each lock-in offers new memories that will last a lifetime. We play games, eat lots of junk food, drink lots of sugar, watch a few movies, and try to stay up all night, so we are all grouchy the next day. Jordan Helvie, Director of High School Ministry
Jordan has been the Director of High School Ministries at Center Grove since May 2019. He was raised in Center Grove since the age of 3. As the Director Jordan teaches Sunday School as well as leading Youth Group and other Youth events.
