Announcements
1. Worship flowers are provided by Jay and Sarah Stoel in celebration of Sarah’s birthday on March 11.
2. Short-term volunteer opportunity. Our congregation has an obligation to have our financial books reviewed annually. Since audits by outside accounting firms are very expensive, we review our books with a financial review team of members of the congregation. We need 3 to 4 people to complete a straightforward checklist that constitutes the review. No accounting degree is required. (But if you have one, it would be valuable!) 3. The The Personnel Committee is looking for two new members. As our church begins a new journey together, please pray about and consider this volunteer opportunity. E-mail or call Stacie Ruff if you are interested in serving in this capacity, stacieruff1@comcast.net or 887-1995.
4. Safety Ministry: We are starting a Safety and Security Team that will focus on protecting the ministry and members of the church. The Team will work to identify areas of risk at our church and will take steps to address those areas. 5. Update—moving expense collection for Pastor Scott’s move to Greenwood. The contribution total stands at $12,170. We are approximately 2/3 of the way to our goal of $19,000. Checks should indicate “ moving expenses” on the memo line.
6. General cleaning day March 20 starts at 9 a.m. We will also be cleaning the chandeliers on that day. Rod Hadley, Building & Grounds, will coordinate.
7. Men’s Lenten Breakfast: The breakfasts take place on Saturday morning at 7:30. The schedule as follows:

8. Join us for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on April 17. In an effort to show our love and support to Robin Swigert and her family, their Home Group is forming a team to walk in this year’s Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. We would love to have as many of you as possible joining us in the walk. For information call Michelle Matthews 407-1844 or Pam Kidney 402-4079. We hope to get our team together by March 15.

10. Glory Ridge Mission Trip Saturday May 29—June 5. Your chance to sign up to travel to Glory Ridge Camp situated in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. 11. March 8 at 6:00 p.m., Women Christian Fellowship will meet in Fellowship Hall for a light meal followed by a presentation from Bob Smelser on his mission trip to Boquete Panama. A short business meeting will follow. All women of the church are encouraged to attend.
12. Have you thought about going to the Creation Museum in Cincinnati but didn’t like the thought of driving? Women’s Christian Fellowship is planning to sponsor a bus trip there June 24. The cost per person will be $40, which will include your admission ticket. Reservations will be limited. More details will be published in the March Centerings and future bulletins.
13. The Women’s Christian Fellowship is sponsoring a day trip for March 16 to the Indiana State Museum including the Lincoln Exhibit. They will have lunch at the Ayers Tea Room, then tour the museum. Tickets will need to be purchased in advance. If you are interested call Susan Bucko 859-0259. Don’t miss the opportunity to see this wonderful exhibit! Everyone, men and women, are welcome to attend.
14. Pray for...is how we ask people to pray on the Joys & Concern list. We would like to begin including our military loved ones. We are asking people to send us their names, branch of service and their location (if it allows). See your Joys & Concerns insert.

Children’s Ministries is in great need of volunteers to work in our nurseries on Easter Sunday. Please contact Amy Hyman at amyh@centergrovechurch.org or call the office 535-9007 if you would be available to volunteer in the infant nursery at either the 8:30 or 11:00 service or the toddler room at 11:00. KIDS Worship will now be offered every Sunday during both services. All children ages 3—2nd grade are welcome to join us. Children will be dismissed during the Meet & Greet time immediately preceding the sermon.
We love to see all of our children active in worship. Therefore, we would like to extend a special invitation to all children in 1st-4th grade to be an acolyte during either service and to all our 2nd through 6th grade children to give our Call to Worship. See the sign-up boards in the narthex.
